“From the setup of the home, the decor, and the amenities, this house by far was one of the best we stayed at. Upon entry, you were welcome with fresh baked brownies, fresh fruit and tons of goodies. The refrigerator was stocked with necessities like milk, eggs, juice, half and half and even homemade Canadian bacon! I’ve stayed at plenty of rentals and I’ve never seen welcome treats let alone milk, eggs, etc in the fridge for guests. Well done Kathy, what a way to run your rental! This lovely……

“Great location for visiting area historical sites. House was verify well stocked and clean. Did not get to enjoy the exterior due to the many days of Elaine. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you would need is there with the exception of a toaster in the kitchen Would recommend and would stay again if visiting the area. ”

“The house is a beautiful property on the West Virginia side of the Potomac River. Despite problems caused by events outside of the owners control (hurricane), they remained in contact and had the problems worked on immediately. ”

“I feel the pictures dont do it justice this place was adorable!! Very cozy and clean. The host was amazing we had car problems and they were very accommodating! When we arrived they had muffins waiting and really just welcoming! I totally recommend cheking this place out it is close to whitetail if you want to go skiing like we did but if you just want a night or two to disconnect it is very great!”

“This home is comfortable and clean, well heated (we stayed in the winter season), has a stocked kitchen with appliances and cookware (the coffee provided as well is excellent!), parking was easy and accessible, and communication with local property managers was flawless! We had a great time with friends staying here and skiing during the time. If we return for the next ski season to Whitetail, we will definitely try to book this property once more! ”

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and……

“Our group of four adults was looking for a rental house in Chambersburg for just two nights, preferably near the Gearhouse Brewing Company. Heidi’s place was perfect! The place was exactly as described, very comfortable and within easy walking distance to the brewery. And the house was spotless! I would highly recommend staying there.”
