“Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! The location right on the river made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Waking up to the sound of the water and enjoying coffee on the porch was the perfect start to our morning. The cabin itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. We enjoyed beautiful views, and simply unwinding inside. It was the ideal spot to disconnect and recharge. We’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend for anyone looking……

“Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather! ”

“The cabin was perfect for a few days of writing and reflecting! Everything was very clean and it was easy communicating with the owner. The house is not "secluded" as there are neighboring houses on two sides and if I hadn't brought an ax/saw to cut my own dry wood enjoying a fire wouldn't have been possible. But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!”

“We had a great stay! Tony was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was very cozy and in a peaceful setting. Even though there are houses near by, we never saw anyone else. There's a privacy fence that blocks the view of the hot tub. So no issues using that! Just wish the pond wasn't frozen. We'll definitely stay there again! ”

“Spent a very relaxing weekend at the cabin, was very happy with size of cabin and all the amenities. Only about 10 minutes to Berkeley Springs, so easy to get to town for a day of fun. The peace and serenity was great only wished the weather would have been warmer so as to explore the property.(our fault as it was late February)”

“We enjoyed the home even though it could get chilly as the heat would automatically drop down the temperature. It was clean, comfy beds, well stocked with dishes and a few staples like spices and TP.We enjoyed the club house and an excellent massage as the spa.”

“This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. ”

“The host’s attention to detail is awesome. Not only was the cabin well appointed, comfortable, and relaxing… the host decorated with a Christmas tree and holiday decor.Although it wasn’t our home, it felt like home. Very appreciative of the details and cleanliness of the cabin.”

“The cabin is so cute and comfortable especially for a beautiful snow storm. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook: toaster oven, microwave, fridge, stove/full sized oven, coffee pot, utensils. The porches are perfect to do a ton of bird watching from. We had several families of deer walk by. The hot tub is such a nice treat! It worked perfectly while we were there and was piping hot. I appreciate the added privacy around the hot tub. The downstairs game room is fun to spend a……

“Outstanding house and outstanding hosts. The only small this is that there are restrictions noted everywhere, door jams, etc. That said, I don't know what it's like to be the host/owner and if people had previously disrespected my property, I would put up restrictions. It's important to note that these notes didn't inhibit our good time. We will likely rent here again, if they will have us and you can 't go wrong renting this home. Go Eagles!!!”

“I have nothing but rave reviews for Tony and his colleagues at Blue Maple as well as their properties. Due to the weather, our original rental was not accessible which was disappointing to my boyfriend and I as we were very much looking forward to unwinding. I called the company and they found us another property they manage nearby so we could get away. This property was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and very well maintained. If we had a question, the host was very responsive to assist however……
