“The property IS next to a trout stream, that was the only good point. The property is old, run down, dirty. Rodent droppings in the kitchen drawers and roaches. Outside there were ladders and tree limbs all over the yard between the cabin and picnic area. Over all its a mess.”

“I had such a great time staying at this cabin! The host was super communicative and made everything really easy. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The best part was how close it was to the water—just a short walk away! There are communal tubes for tubing nearby. We relaxed on the spacious viewing deck with amazing views all around.This cabin was the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Grime under the rug, bugs in the light fixtures, 3 stink bugs on the blinds, spider webs in the over vent, and wasps in the 3rd bedroom - which had a bed and open storage for tools. Bug droppings in the mattresses and around the fireplace. We left immediately - this is not for a family that is used to being comfortable. We had to make alternate arrangements for coming to a wedding in the area.”

“The cabin is beautiful as well as the property if sits on halfway up a mountain! We enjoyed hiking on the property and the seclusion of the cabin. It was great that each of the three bedrooms had their own full bath, and the two rooms/beds we used were very comfortable. The kitchen was great and the living room relaxing with the floor to ceiling windows on one side of the cabin! The owner was easy to contact when we had a problem turning off the fireplace on our arrival, and was easy to……

“Very secluded, the cabins were spaced apart so you could really enjoy the sounds of nature.”

“Pretty campground along a rushing creek. Cabin was plain but adequate. Shower facilities need a good scrubbing. Enjoyed our time here. Would stay again.”

“We had a peaceful stay at the little cabin. We were looking forward to the swimming hole but had to travel and find a place bc the water was so low along the camp. The bed was not up to our standards but the feel of the place more than made up for it. We had a wonderful time.”

“The inside of cabin had exposed insulation. I understand its to be "roughing it". But at a point health hazards are important. Bathrooms we not maintained with paper. Water stations were not operational. Table was filthy after one wipe with a baby wipe it was brown. Other reviews of the showers were not pleasant so we didn't even bother to look. Talking to a few locals the place is known to be a nudist camp. Supposedly they are being watched by police for drug trafficking. This is all hear……

“Windows did not close Lock on door was only a chain lock( not an issue but something i would have liked to know prior) Room had not been cleaned. Hot pocket was in fridge from prior guest, under the bed was dust bunnies. Mattresses are dingy. Again not an issue bc i knew it was going to be rustic but losing says it’s cleaned with medical grade and after each visit. It’s a good dry place to stay and not a tent. Check in guy was nice and helpful.”
