“Villager is a gem. Perfect for my visit to the Clark. Those who remember past motels will appreciate getting an actual room key. That said, the up to date and well-designed rooms, including a comfortable mattress, even a working TV, were a pleasure. Even the continental breakfast was well-chosen- all I needed. The setting was absolutely perfect: a babbling river right behind the house where you can sit by the water, skip stones, relive your childhood navigating across slippery rocks. We sat for hours with a great blue heron, saw mink (we think), humming birds, a belted kingfisher. All walking distance to restaurants, shops, the Williams college campus and art museum.
