“LOVE the style, quiet and clean. Very comfortable for a get away. Not right on the beach but not too far from it. Nice community. Very very cute cottage. We had a relaxing four day getaway.”

“This was such a beautiful experience. The cottage felt so much like home. The balcony and view were amazing. The heated massage chair, cookies and wine on the table, were amazing and unexpected additions. The owner communicated well and clearly, even offering me an early check-in. “Everything about this house was great! It was spotless, and pleasing to the eye. Everything in the house was “top of the line”. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. I had brought a bag of coffee as most rentals have regular coffee pots. When I saw the Keurig, I was ready to go buy some pods. Then I noticed the little drawer under the coffee pot that was filled with pods. You had everything covered Josh! Thank you for coming over immediately to help us get……

“This place is a unique stay, that's for sure! If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, you should come. If you love trains, you should come. However, if you are not that fond of tight spaces or old-fashioned style and your traveling companions are looking for luxury and privacy, you might want to look elsewhere. The bathroom is a big tight (it's a caboose bathroom). But the location is really fun. And the owners are very accommodating! ”

“The property was exactly as advertised and what we needed for a two night stay for a graduation. It was economical and accommodated 5 people comfortably. The interior is a bit dated, but clean. We did not spend much time at the property, so it worked well for us. The beds were a bit hard, but functional for two nights.”

“We had a wonderful time. The cottage was super clean and exactly as advertised. The view of the lake from the front slider was beautiful. The water was very clean and we went swimming and kayaking every day. The sandy beach made it very easy to get into the water. Our Golden Retriever, Sunny, loved swimming and chasing the minnows by the shore. We enjoyed the local restaurants and.the seafood at the Maine Attraction was great.. We wished we could have stayed longer and plan to come back again……

“Cottage was just as good as it looked in the photos. Very clean and pleasant, tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a month's stay was provided including plenty of linens/towels, roomy washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Easy access to the lake where we enjoyed swimming and canoeing. A short distance to the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum made for an excellent destination for daily walks that included some stops at the "Bread Shed" on the way to get some delicious breads……
