“We were in the area for a wedding in Connecticut and visiting family in Massachusetts. The location was perfect being in the middle of both events. Its a very quiet neighborhood. All amenities were as stated in the listing. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable. We will come back if we are in the area again.bedroom was very cconformable. ”

“We all enjoyed the house, very clean and easy and close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The property had not bloomed yet (too cold) but I suspect would be amazing to sit out by the pond or on the patio ”

“We had the most amazing time at Gail’s place. It was even more special, more beautiful, cozy and welcoming than the pictures or descriptions could capture. It is a home, in the very best of ways. Especially in early Spring volatile weather, when it was perfect to be cozy inside, cook, play games, rest. The beds were all comfortable, as was the seating, the space. Kitchen stocked, bathrooms abundant, and everything exceptionally clean. I almost recommended coming when the weather is bad, to take……

“This is such a great property, I spent a whole month with three separate stays adjacent due to travel planning and the host was wonderful. The house is really beautiful and in a great neighborhood and it’s very comfortable and super clean. This will be a regular for me in the Hartford area. I’m looking forward to seeing what the beautiful landscaping is like in the spring and summer too.”

“The duplex was clean and quiet. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make dinner, although there was no kitchen towel for drying hands and dishes (very minor). Three bedrooms, two with a double/queen, one with a single, and it looked like the couch in the living room was a pull out. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Wi-fi worked well. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would stay here again if in the area. ”

“This is our second time staying in this home. It’s nestled right on the lake and is perfect. It is stocked with everything you need, they did not skip a beat. Easy check in and check out process. Loved the gifts they left for us, always a nice touch.”

“A very nice, clean, spacious New England home. The owner of the property was very easy to communicate with. We live in Florida but my wife and I are originally from the area. We went to visit family but knew we needed to find accomodations for our family of 5. The house was perfect and if it is available the next time we visit we'll definitely be staying there. ”

“We were really only at the house for the late evenings, nights, and mornings. We found the kitchen well stocked to make breakfast (we bought the groceries). The beds were comfortable. Only a couple minor issues that we just handled. The temperature control was preprogrammed to go to 50 degrees in the evening and overnight. We loved the little touches that made it special: the old books, the fireplace, the blue themed colors, the fire pit outside.The best part was the view of the lake. “We needed to find a VRBO last minute between Ludlow & Hartford large enough to accommodate 5 adults & a dog. A beloved family member had passed. We had several events to attend in a few different locations. This was the only VRBO to meet these needs. I cannot thank Matt enough for his timely & helpful communications. He was also honest about the condition of the rental. I read all the reviews for which most were accurate. The most positive aspects for us were the clean, soft & comfortable beds.……
