“Came to Rainbow River to specifically swim with the manatees. This location was excellent. Near KP Hole with boat ramp, kayaks, swimming and so much more. Especially enjoyed the hammocks. The manatee adventure was fun too. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

“The birdhouse is truly magical! Dana is a wonderful host. Very communicative And accommodating. The location of the house is perfect. Everything you need is within a short drive if you decide to even get into a car. By boat is better or paddleboard! Our pups loved the enclosed fenced in yard. The yard is huge! They had a nice room to run around, play, and explore! One of our favorite things about the home Besides, it’s wonderful natural beauty was that you never felt that your dog was not……

“Great stay for two nights and close to the river where we rented a boat. It was very clean.”

“My dad, my grandmother, my sister and I and our spouses and kids met here for thanksgiving. The large table with views of the rainbow river was a perfect place for a perfect meal. I grew up on those waters and enjoyed spending my holiday there. The house gave us plenty of room to be together but also have our space. We used the kayaks and tubes and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thank you so much for opening your property to us ”

“The home is a spacious, rambling old place that features the fun surprise of a room designed as a bar. The upper deck of the dock looked questionably stable and provided no shade, but we swam and kayaked from the lower dock. We did not see kayaks listed as available and never received an answer about them, so we brought our own, but 3 were on property. I have never used a wood burning grill and was unable to start the one there, despite buying wood pellets and reading instructions, so that was……

“This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property and plan to stay there again next year. It’s a lovely spot with a very romantic pool and patio area. If you are into kayaking, the community launcharea is very handy and easy to get in and out. Convenient to shopping and restaurants.”

“Overall we really liked our stay. The house is huge and has pretty much everything we needed for a few days. My son loved the pool and the main living area. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with dear passing by on the ground and horses living right behind. One thing I did not like was that the house was not the cleanest. I think it needs a good deep clean (shutters inside are very dusty/in general around the windows inside, the drawers of the dresser in the main room were dusty, the fridge is not……

“This is a beautiful home with everything you need. Sleep well in one of the comfortable beds. Wake up with a river view and a cup of coffee on the backyard swing. Cook a meal in the fully stocked kitchen or go out to eat in nearby Dunnellon. Wrap up your day with a fire in the firepit or the fireplace (firewood was supplied by the host), or just relax in the spacious Florida room with lots of comfortable seating. There is lots of space in this home, lots of places to sit, lovely views, abundant……
