“It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna.”

“Absolutely loved everything about this place!! Quiet, clean, above and beyond with the little extras. The guest book was a great touch. Loved reading it. The bed and pillows were perfect!!! “Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful, even arranged return of a left item after our departure. The house was clean and well appointed with amenities including a variety of kitchen cooking items left behind by previous visitors. My boys loved the yard and the opportunity to play in the snow. We had issues getting into the property on arrival but a quick call to the property manager sorted things out. ”

“The place was very clean with everything thing you need. My only issue was the tv and couch weren’t facing each other. After a day of working, I just wanted to relax with a movie. I have a neck fusion so turning my neck far is difficult to do for long. It would be much better to face the couch towards the tv straight on. Even the tv extension only extended out so far. It’s silly but that was my only issue but definitely not a deal breaker. Would stay again. ”

“What a charming cabin! It was very welcoming. I greatly appreciated the instructions that were texted to us, and that were left in the cabin. That was very helpful. We had a very relaxing stay and a lot of fun. It was great to have the games and the DVDs there; our grandchildren spent a couple of nights with us, as well, because it was such a nice place. “This home was larger than we thought it looked online, an older home but cozy. We had an extended stay and had no problems fully living life in here. Really is dog friendly. We and our dog were endlessly entertained by the local dogs which were insanely friendly. A nice safe area for walking with amazing views of mountains. Loved the drive, and Hatcher Pass and Government Peak are minutes away.”

“I very much enjoyed my stay here! I would book this place again! Cottage was extremely cozy, clean and the views are STUNNING! They’re still stuck in my head. Julie and Brian were great. I couldn’t have asked for better. Well worth the value. Palmer is a very scenic and cozy town as well. Check-In and Check-Out are both seamless. Just follow the instructions provided and you will be fine. Use the fire pit, roast hot dogs, make s’mores, BBQ and just enjoy your time at this lovely……
