“We had the most amazing stay at Carolyn's place. She left us a place so clean that we all felt comfortable walking around the house without shoes. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the cleanest i have ever experienced. The views were gorgeous, with the bonus being that you can see the Cornell campus from here. Easy access to all things Ithaca, wifi was fast, and kitchen was well appointed. We did not go in the lake but we did enjoy some r and r on the dock. Would stay again. ”

“We normally visit the area in the fall and stay at a place on the lake. This time we decided to try spring and couldn't stay where we normally do. The Bee House was so comfortable and peaceful. You feel like you are in a secluded area yet you are about 20 minutes from Ithaca and not much further to Watkins Glen. This is a great place to stay to visit the west side of Cayuga Lake and the east side of Seneca Lake. Hiking, waterfalls, gorgeous gorges (!), and wineries, cideries, and breweries all……

“Thank you for the great stay! Check in was contactless and the instructions were straightforward. The studio is cozy and had all the amenities we needed. It has a mini split that keeps the space warm in the winter (or cold in the summer). We did not end up needing to contact the hosts during our stay, and the check out was also a very simple process. There are neighbors upstairs but they were reasonably quiet for a Saturday evening. It was too cold to see the alpacas -- maybe next time! Thank……

“This property was as described in the listing, charming, near the commons, ample parking, clean, inviting, cozy (but not in a small way). The property manager was attentive via messenger but we never saw anyone - so we had communication if needed but had nothing but privacy the entire stay. It says two bedrooms but it felt like 3 the way the second bedroom is laid out, with each teenager having their own space, which helps, believe me. “This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced.”

“Randall is a gracious host who quickly communicated well throughout the rental process. The property is clean, neat, well appointed, and has an amazing view of the lake. Our family of 4 loved sitting lakeside by the fire, fishing off the dock, and sitting in the hottub watching the sunrise and the stars shine.
