Recondo-Downtown Walk Anywhere-Dog Friendly

Come visit The RECONDO at WILMINGTON which is part of downtown Wilmington’s historic Masonic Temple, built in 1899. Stay at this convenient location giving you the ability to spend your days at any one of our beaches and your nights shopping, eating, and bar-hopping within a walking distance of our home. *We are dog friendly, but need to approve your pet ahead of time. Let us know if you are planning to bring a dog, we allow up to 2 for a $50 pet fee per dog. No free parking at this time.

Guests will have full access to the entire condo. Self check in with door and lockbox codes.

Please note: This unit is located in a building that also has a rooftop bar a couple stories above. There may be late night noise, especially on weekends.

Please be sure to review our cancellation policy prior to making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance at the time of booking.

Try another place if you'd like to be able to sleep

Huge Disclaimer to Start: Owner did not state in the description that this VRBO was inside an incredibly popular rooftop bar. There was a gigantic 40 person ish line to get into the place and it was really awkward getting into the place past the bouncer and all the people in line were making snide remarks about us skipping the line.There was NOOO soundproofing in the place. You could hear whole conversations from the roof in our second story room. The floors shook. I also heard every clip and every word from the neighbors TV. No free parking, you have to pay for a parking deck, just a heads up. Pros: The place itself was absolutely stunning, well decorated, extremely similar to the listing pictures. I loved the outdoor porch area and the shower as well. The bed and pillows were comfortable as was the couch. The kitchen was fully loaded with anything you could need to cook and eat with a family sized table. Location was fantastic!!

Weekend getaway

We visited Wilmington for a weekend getaway. Such a fun town. The appt building is in need of some updating. The appt was nice enough. Weekend late into the night into early morning was very loud, I assume due to the rooftop bar. The entrance to the unit (staircase) had loose and broken tile. The owner was very prompt in any questions I had prior to arrival, which was appreciated. We had a great time. I would recommend the parking garage across the street, very easy to access.

Fun small city visit!

My husband and I stayed here for a long date weekend. Nice, clean apartment. Central downtown location. Our first trip to Wilmington and we will be back! Great, walkable little city with restaurants and shops. Parking is offsite but only $12 for 24 hours in the garage. Rooftop bar was a neat surprise that we visited and has great views. Might be too old to appreciate the music they play until 2am :) highly recommend property owner. Great and timely communication. Nice property. Great weekend.

Good place for the money

We had a nice stay at this property. It had all of the amenities needed. The building it is located in is in need of a touch up, especially with paint. Overall though, it was a good place for the money. I would stay here again.
