“We had a delightful family retreat at the cottage. With my children aged 6 and 9, the sandy waterfront was a true highlight for them! We spent most of our days enjoying the beach, swimming, and canoeing in the serene cove. The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which added to our pleasant experience. The bed provided a comfortable night's sleep, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. We also appreciated the great selection of DVDs available. The charcoal……

“Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!!”

“Lovely little cabin on a lake. No frills just quiet! Bed very comfortable. Hot water in shower. Dishes and accessories all provided. Only additions could be a coffee maker. French press was there but I was looking for a regular drip pot. Some better assortment of games might be nice too. Playing Clue with only 2 people is a little pointless!! 😂😂😂 Country Deli on the corner was great for coffee and sandwiches. Less than a mile up the road. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the bean cottage. Cozy, and charming and well-equipped with kayaks etc to get out on great pond. Convenient to days and the dam there which is a bit of a spot for fishing. Michelle very responsive. ”

“The "Kastle" was great. We had an issue with the wifi which was not resolved. When you are in Maine on a beautiful lake with a family of loons, who needs electronics? Take some pots if you want to cook. Mr. King was responsive when we inquired about the Air Conditioning. There is 1 portable unit downstairs and 1 upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms were a little warm. Overall a great vacation.”
