It was extremely well equipped, with lovely touches like free tea and coffee and a hamper containing wine, peanuts etc, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.Perfect location, we travelled with 2 dogs who loved the beach.We would not hesitate to stay again.”

“I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet.”

“The photos do not do it justice. It’s a charming, very cosy, home with everything you need to relax. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to the main town of Whitby. We walked everyday enjoying excellent weather and superb surroundings. The parking is ideal, next to the cottage. It’s one property without ifs/buts and we’ll certainly be back”

“Easy to get to the beach as well as the shops/harbour so great location. Host communicated well and everything we needed was provided. Could do with a shelf in the shower as it is quite tight when needing to bend for shampoo etc. initially a cigarette smell to the property so not sure if previous tenants smoked inside. Thank you for a nice stay”

“The property is tucked away just of the Main Street in the town centre. Perfect for access to all amenities and the beach. We were able to lock the car up and walk everywhere. The property provided everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“Stayed for 3 nights in May. Managed to park for free on arrival,bonus! Felt a little uncomfortable in the small entrance alley,it seemed quite dirty.The stairs up to the apartment door were cracked and the light was on a sensor which didnt come on until i was on the second step. After unlocking the apartment door the stairs leading up were a disappointing first impression, they were covered with a plastic protector which was dirty and torn.Once in the apartment it was comfy and well equipped if……

“We stayed for two nights with our two children to explore Whitby. The cottage is fantastic! Really nicely furnished and well equipped and lovely to look out over the harbour and across to the abbey. The location is brilliant, right by the harbourside but still feels nice and peaceful in the cottage.”

“Loved beachcomber holiday home it was spotlessly clean and very spacious would definitely stop there again ps just one problem couldn’t locate the safe key box we were looking for for a while thinking it should be near door back or front of property but we discovered it was in the barbecue area so took us a while but got in Thanks Paul”
