“I was a solo traveler because my companion had to change plans, so I had the benefit of complete piece of mind at this place, and more room than I needed. It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning here in the future for sure ”

“I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! ”

“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. The cottage was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and an assortment of chairs and couches were available for lounging, viewing the……

“Cottage is rustic and very comfortable, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The waterfront is beautiful and so peaceful, and the view of Monadnock is incredible. Warm water to swim or float, great fishing from the dock, and the owners are super nice. We made some great memories, and would definitely return!”
