“Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

“We had the most wonderful visit! The cottage was adorable and nestled on beautiful farm land. It exceeded all of our expectations! Our hosts were absolutely delightful and provided all of the comforts of home… and more! (including farm fresh eggs and the most delicious homemade blueberry scones). When the property listing says it is pet friendly, they weren’t kidding! The host provided a sofa cover, dog bowls, and grain free treats for our dog Lily. “The house was perfect, they’ve made every convenience available for a smooth stay. ”

“We are three old friends who take a little vacation together every summer. We love outlet shopping and so decided to try Lancaster this year. We loved this home with its beautiful view and easy access to Route 30 and all the sights and fun of the Lancaster area. We did not use the hot tub, so can't comment on that. Nor did we use the outdoor seating area as it was quite humid during our stay. The interior was beautifully appointed and perfect for our needs. The host was very responsive and easy……

Everything was stocked, you truly needed only the food you specifically wanted for the week. “This property was absolutely beautiful! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like a home away from home. It has a great kitchen full of amenities to make cooking stress-free. The outdoor area is private, with a grill and fire pit. The location of the cottage is about 30 minutes from Hershey Park and about 15 min from Lititz, a quaint town full of shops and events.
