“The host is very friendly. Place is very clean, and is of Victorian style decoration. Breakfasts are delicious. Location is great. The room I stayed the first night missed a window lock, so one window couldn't be locked. The overhead lights weren't functioning, so the room isn't super bright after dark. “Staff was welcoming and helpful. Long stairway up to 2nd floor rooms. Daily wine and cheese hour was very nice. Breakfast was delivered to room, and although well made and unique, did not provide alternative choices, unless you asked for specific items in advance.”

“The breakfast items were different each of the 3 days we were there. The sausage links were especially delicious, but all items were unique in their presentation and taste. We had the Wilson room with the fireplace, but it was not cold enough to fire it up. That would have been a cozy plus. Overall a really pleasant time. Kudos to John for providing a nifty solution to the free time we had. ”

"The hotel's promotional photos greatly lowered the hotel's grade, because I think the actual environment of the hotel is much better than in the photos, completely beyond my imagination, the room is very clean and tidy and the scenery is extremely beautiful, the only drawback is that there is no ham sausage for breakfast"
