“Unique rooms with a stone wall and open ceiling with timber wood. Very comfortable bed. Quiet place for sleeping. All the amenities you’ll need. Staff was very informative about the rooms and the area. We stayed off season so they had a list of restaurants that were open with current hours. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect for our weekend get away. Loved the place. Host was very accommodating for our needs. We had a 22' boat along as we fished the Mississippi a couple days and there was a ton of room for parking and electrical to charge the boat. We loved the country setting very peaceful. We will look to rent again the next time we come back to the area. ”

“Excellent cute, charming, unique place with a great host. Plenty of great breakfast with lots of refreshments. The area around this quite town is absolutely beautiful. We used free bikes from the museum to travel on the plentiful bike trails. We traveled to near by towns to site see. Plenty of great breweries and wineries around the area. Also everyone was so friendly. Absolutely loved the property and our stay! ”

"Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking quiet, history, and genuine hospitality. It’s more than just a B&B—it’s a soul-soothing experience."
