“Place was very nice and clean, I didn’t want for anything that was not there accept olive oil… which led me to the Galena garlic company where I found all sorts of olive oils and other goodies. My mom loved hearing the birds chirping while enjoying the hot tub. Fried green tomatoes was a family hit!”

“I stayed here for two nights on a girls getaway with my Mom, my Aunt and my teenage daughter. Derinda is a short but beautiful 20 minutes southeast from all the shopping and activities in Galena, nestled in the woods. Very peaceful, with room to relax and a local brewery with tasty offerings. The breakfasts were excellent and Sandy even called before we arrived to check for any food allergies! We would definitely stay here again.”

“This was the perfect location for our family of 21 to gather for Thanksgiving. The ranch had so many animals and places to roam and all the kids had fun playing on the baseball field. Enough ovens for all of the Thanksgiving Turkey and sides to be eaten hot, and enough room for all to enjoy our time together. Great location near Galena!”

“We generally rent homes when traveling as an exec team. We chose this property for its proximity to our plant in Stockton,Il. Where we were able to host a small group for dinner. The location was perfect and the house is very nice. We all were amazed by the view and beautiful sunset. Three of us stay d overnight with great no issues. The amenities are nice and the cottage is well equipped. My only thought is that unless your family the bed/bath setup is not adequate for 6 bedrooms. Simply due……
