“The home was exactly as expected from the pictures and description. The owner was very responsive from start to finish. Would definitely stay here again!”

“The private setting was idyllic for this 18th century farm house. The rolling hills, woodlands, and landscaping, plus the yellow cow who kept watch over us, made for a fairytale weekend. The house was beautifully restored, with amenities added that did not detract from the historical appeal. Edwina had everything that we needed to make our stay lovely, right down to a plate of delicious homemade cookies on our arrival. I hope to come back and stay here in the future, and would highly recommend……

“This was a lovely retreat for myself. Having different options to sit outside was beneficial and i especially liked looking over the hill by the bedroom while enjoying the dawn and dusk sun. I appreciated the amenities and spacious areas. Though i noticed it in the pictures, i was surprised by no curtains on the windows, especially over the bedroom glass door. The area is private but no way to block out the sun. ”

Bryan and Jenn out did themselves with the decor and wonderful hospitality! Waking up to the horses and view each morning made the trip even more special. “We loved our stay at this house. In town for a wedding, the space was the perfect size to let us visit with family and get ready. Only thing others may want to know is how close the train tracks are to the house. We had lots of safety talks with our kids, and we always knew when the train was going by! But the views of the river can’t be beat.”

“Back entrance, nice to have access for 2 cars in a closed garage in back, always a few spots in front of the house. Was clean and tidy. Back stairs up to second floor for entrance. Ask first about how to use the electronic lock, was not intuitive. Be careful on the stairs, railings are a little low and a couple of steps bigger than the rest. ”
