“Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.”

“We loved our visit. Wendell and Twiline provided way more than was required or expected. Milk, juice, bread, sausage, farm fresh eggs and much, much more. It felt like being at home. Cozy, comfy, and and exceptionally clean. clean.”

This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

“Rental was extremely clean & well furnished. Wonderful view. Thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, freshly baked blueberry scones, fresh flowers, candy & even dog treats. The fenced in yard for our dog was greatly appreciated. Our dog found the chickens, rosters, emus & burros very interesting. The property is very well maintained & the owners are close by but give you privacy. Highly recommend.”

“House was adorable. Hot tub was not as clean as I expected. Also, there were alot of flies. I believe that is related to proximity to farms. So just a heads up. No screens on windows or doors so they get into the house. The park was perfect for all of our family to enjoy. ”

“It was great other than the radiators. The home only has 2 tvs which would be ok if the radiators weren’t so loud. The bangs woke us up all night. We were there for business and it was very nice. I just recommend they put noise machines or tvs in the rooms.”
