“Very nice cabin. Clean and well kept. Having the John boat and canoe were a nice bonus seeing we were on an island. Lol. Host was very responsive and Rob was too. While we were there it got cold, so we needed to use the gas burner cast iron heating unit. Couldn’t get it lit and they were very helpful on that. Reading the instructions became helpful. Another knee slapper. Push in the knob while igniting with the pilot button. The instructions were on the floor attached to the legs. Hard to read,……

“Great spot! Plenty of room to cook, great fishing, quiet, and relaxing. We launched our small 12 foot boat which was awesome. A word of advice, if your boat is bigger than that, you might want to launch at the resort across the lake so there’s adequate space to back in. The lake is a short walk down the hill through a pretty path. I caught my first very large bass (a mounter!) and our dog who is fighting terminal cancer can happy and comfortable. He really liked the fan that was in the office.……

“My husband and I really enjoyed the Yacht Club cabin on Burntside Lake! Well kept, safe and close to town. Loved the dock for our boat, neighbors were quiet and respectful. Cabin was equipped with everything you could need. Loved the washer and dryer!! It was a very peaceful place to enjoy boating, fishing and relaxing!! We will be back! Blessings, Linda and Mitch”

“We love Wilderness Wind so much! Summer is simply not complete without at least one visit here. The cabins are adorable, the company is wonderful and of course the scenery. My husband and stepson love the fishing of course, and I just enjoy reading my book listening to the wind in the trees. I heartily recommend to anyone!”

“It was absolutely amazing from the second we pulled up. Everyone was so friendly and the pictures do not do the place justice. Even with breaking my wrist, I still had an amazing time! Big perk is use of equipment is included! They provided wood, kayak, paddle boat, life jackets! Oh and we also over packed! Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, towels, cleanings supplies.... everything! Beds have pillows and blankets, just bring sheets and cases and maybe a couple extra blankets. Again,……

“We had a last minute change of plans and needed next day lodging. The Wolf Cabin fit the bill and then some. Has a wonderful community intention but if looking for solitude, that's available too. Jay could not have been nicer. Just a few things to note: the bed is noisy, the fridge was turned down before we arrived--turn to a 3 or 4 when you get there, it's well loved and lived in cabin. It is surprisingly well stocked! We would definitely return!”
