“What a great location! Located on the east end of the lake with a beautiful sunset view and the winds blowing in our screened in windows we got plenty of fresh air and lake views. The hospitality was top notch and the cabin was everything it needed to be. Simple accommodations but comfortable and clean. Jay and Lulu were the best hosts and daily made sure we had everything we needed!”

“We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. “We *loved* our stay. I knew the location would be great (basically next door to the International Wolf Center in Ely), but I didn't know in advance how spacious, quiet, and green the place would be. We enjoyed playing a number of the board games in the evenings. My spouse and I were both especially taken by the adorable groundhog who lives outside under the deck, and who popped up at times to bathe in the summer sun. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Vacation UniquEly! We spend a lot of time in Ely and this was our first time staying here. We loved the location! The cabin was so clean. The space was perfect for my mom and I to have some privacy from each other at night but still be close. The fridge was a nice size for being a mini fridge. We had everything we needed for a long weekend.”

“Bonnie was wonderful to work with leading up to our stay and also checked in on us periodically during the stay to make sure that everything was perfect! The owners Monica and Tim were on site when we arrived and were both incredibly nice.The apartment itself was gorgeous and immaculately clean, all of the pictures were accurate for the condition of the property! Nothing but great things about the stay, and we'll definitely be booking again in the future!”

The photos in the listing are good, but don't totally capture the spaciousness, views, and attention to detail here. There are so many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy! “We love Wilderness Wind so much! Summer is simply not complete without at least one visit here. The cabins are adorable, the company is wonderful and of course the scenery.
