“We had a group of 7 retirees staying at the Wolf Lake Lodge for a weekend of snowmobiling. The log home is beautiful and was furnished with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were a bit cramped since we had 3 singles in our group, this was not a surprise. Hanging all of our gear was also challenging, there is a lack of hooks and areas suitable for a group our size. The snowmobile trail access was about 7 miles by plowed rode. “Just bring some food and friends and enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge. Once you arrive everything you need is there ready for you to enjoy the private lake in the scenic northern Michigan forest with your friends. Note: If you go in the Winter, you may want 4-wheel drive. Some the hills can be hard to get up if its snowy. ”

“Whether you're into off trail or on, they have it all. We had groups that did both and both had some epic days. Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Definitely on our list of places to go back to.”

“The house is great, the location is out of this world, and the backyard is to die for. Lake front with a fire pit right on the lake. Owners were prompt in returning calls and taking care of our needs. ”

“We had a great stay while attending our son’s NMU graduation and moving him to Houghton to become a full time yooper. We will definitely return for visits. It is a great location and very comfortable. Morning coffee on the lake lot while overlooking the glass calm lake and perfect reflections in the water was a wonderful break from our busy weekend.
