“Property took my money, then advised us not to travel at less than 24hrs notice, leaving me without a place to stay and without refund. Hotels.com did nothing about it. “Our trip was very nice. It was easy to book in, staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. We struggled with the heat in our room, it was a warm day and the window did not open, nor was there air-con. However we did find a fan in the cupboard which worked to cool the room down. The facilities in the room were okay, and the bed we dtayed in was extremely comfy. All in all a very pleasant stay. ”

“We could’nt get access into the property and couldn’t get hold of the managing agent, spent 2 hrs trying to get in, gave up and the whole area was fully booked. Absolute nightmare. The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. Contacted Expedia and spent a further 2 hrs on the phone to them and they also could not get in touch with the managing agent. The building had poor lighting outside and was……

“A nice hotel that is sensibly priced. Perfect for short stays when in the Grimsby area. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is verging towards excellent, but could be improved by the addition of smoked haddock with poached eggs, as well as kippers, to the menu. ”
