The check in instructions were to download an app and then there were no details like property number, none of the key boxes were responsive. Contacted Expedia and spent a further 2 hrs on the phone to them and they also could not get in touch with the managing agent. The building had poor lighting outside and was……

“Clear check-in instructions received that were easy to follow. Room was clean. 2x bottles of drinking water were in the room which was appreciated. A nice breakfast included and I believe parking may have been free but I forgot about this and paid to stay in the pay'n'display car park across the road. Excellent value for money. Great location if attending events in Cleethorpes.”

“Comfortable accommodation. The bed was very comfortable, with all the essentials in the room; wardrobe, drawers, mirror, tv’s, bed side table. Door was lockable from the inside - good safety feature. Kitchen was clean - i met the cleaner a couple of times, and she was always more than happy to help with any concerns, and showed me that there was food (frozen food and cereal) that everyone could help themselves to. Close to the town centre and transport routes - approximate 5 min walk from……

“Property took my money, then advised us not to travel at less than 24hrs notice, leaving me without a place to stay and without refund. Hotels.com did nothing about it. The property are now ignoring hotels.com and therefore no refund will be issued. Utter madness. I have used this website for many stays over many years. I will not be using again”
