“Such a nice little primitive campground without the need for a tent. The property was pretty much secluded which was pretty great for us. There is a big open field which our kids and dog really enjoyed running around. The A frame pods are clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“We loved our stay at the Rock House! The home was clean and comfortable. John and his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river, both on the property and from a nearby public road and even provided us plenty of firewood. There were a lot of ticks by the river so I recommend bringing tick spray. I suspect it has to to with the time of year rather than location because this was not the only spot we picked them up and……

“Perfect cabin for our group of four. Well stocked with everything needed and good tv options. Having two bathrooms with showers was handy. Location is great for dining in Jasper and floating/fishing the Buffalo. Made use of the fire pit for hot dogs and S'mores. Closer to the road than expected but no issues.”

“We stayed at leatherwood for one night and headed a couple of miles down the road to the outfitter before starting our paddle trip. Leatherwood is a great and spacious house with everything you need. If you’re driving in the dark the sign can be a bit hard to see but if you’re looking out for it, it’s no problem at all! Would absolutely come back!”

“House was big. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for my family to be comfortable. The hot tub was clean. The weather was rainy so no pool or kayaking. But we did get a nice hike in when the rain let up. The game room was fun. We would stay here again. Caution you maybe more comfortable with clearance and AWD on the road into the property. ”
