“My family stayed here and had such a good time that we were already planning our next trip on the way home. This is the place to go if you want to unwind. You can tell the owners of this property pour a lot of love into it. The land is absolutely stunning. We spent many hours fishing in the pond. We caught all kinds of fish from large mouth bass, perch, and even blue speckled crappie. The dogs that look after the land are total sweethearts. The beds were comfortable and we all slept great. “This was our second time staying at the cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The cabin is cozy, secluded, and only a short walk to the river. It’s also just about 15 minutes from Huntsville, which makes it super convenient while still feeling like a getaway. We love the peaceful atmosphere and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing escape!”

“Like a step back in time the house was decorated warm and cozy you just wanted to pick up a book and curl up by the fire place and read all day. The kids loved it they loved hiking the mile trail and the cookies in the tin Kathy left for us and the candy in the jar. It was very peaceful in the woods The big deck was great to sit on in the morning and have coffee. Great place for the family to all unwind and catch up with each other again”

“Property was great!!! Host was excellent!!! 2 families on vacation together. Very spacious for 10 people. Close to Canoe companies. This cabin had all amenities we needed down to extra trash bags, cookware, dishes, utensils, towels. Beautiful decor and the scenery is breathtaking! Having a pool for the kids was awesome! We would definitely stay here again! ”

“Great spot! The road leading in was definitely a little rough but well worth it. Not only did the Hannah house accommodate our entire crew but had enough parking for trucks with trailers, as we pulled side by sides . The property had everything we needed and very clear instructions ”

“We spent a three day weekend with friends exploring the Ozark Mountain Trails on our SXS and had a blast. The check-in was friendly and super accommodating. Parking is spacious with room to maneuver trailers. Best of all the home was secluded and we felt tucked away in our own retreat. The location was perfect! “This is a great small well appointed cowboy cabin! We booked unit this as an alternative to camping given the nearby access to centerpoint trail head, and our Ponca canoe outfitter. The cabin is small but comfortable and slept our party of four perfectly. Coming home to a nice bed, shower, and air conditioner after a long day outside was just what we were looking for! The unit had ample fresh towels, a washer and dryer (which as great!), and all the basics for cooking meals at home. There……

“We stayed at leatherwood for one night and headed a couple of miles down the road to the outfitter before starting our paddle trip. Leatherwood is a great and spacious house with everything you need. If you’re driving in the dark the sign can be a bit hard to see but if you’re looking out for it, it’s no problem at all! Would absolutely come back!”
