“I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! ”

“My husband and I just wanted a quiet get away to do absolutely nothing. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of our jobs and home. I wanted to read a book, and he loves to fish. He walked to the pond; I sat on the deck (when it wasn't raining.) We were able to use the grill a couple of times in between showers. There was wildlife, deer, turtles, and birds to entertain. Town had an antique shop, and we visited neighboring towns for more shops and ate a meal in Carbondale which was……

“My husband and I needed to disconnect from our busy lives. Coming down to the Shawnee area turned out to be the best choice, and this cabin played a large part in that! On the exterior, the cabin is well-seasoned now, showing a history of nature rightfully integrating into the wood. The interior is as cozy as it looks!
