“Didn’t like that you had to pay for breakfast, but whatever, we were there for the pool. The pool was adequate, but apparently if the doors aren’t propped open the fire alarm goes off. My kids had a blast and the hotel was close to the Big Texan, which is why we chose it. Not a glamorous hotel but was in budget and was great for our family of 6.”

“The location is not glamorous. It is right off of I40 on the east end of Amarillo, BUT the hotel was impeccably clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the pool was great, beds comfortable, hot shower with great water pressure, AND breakfast was surprisingly good! “Overall stay was fine. The AC didn’t work very well. Kept turning off. We reached late so we didn’t want to ask for a room change in the middle of the night. The warm water in the shower was inconsistent. In the middle of the shower it was getting cold which happened multiple times. To be fair to the staff there, we haven’t complained about either of these issues and gave them an opportunity to fix them so I can’t complain.”
