“Cabin was perfect. My only suggestion would be leaving a spare propane tank for the grill for guests to switch if needed. Unfortunately the propane tank ran out half way through us cooking dinner the one night we tried to use it. Other than that, all was great!”

“We stayed with a group of teenagers and it was the perfect place. Plenty of room to spread out. The first floor had the game area, a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and two bathrooms. The second/main floor had 3 bedrooms with king beds and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The third floor housed the bunk room and another half bath. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. “Trip started out interesting when mt going to Gatlinburg was closed, hence 4.5 hour detour around mt. Then winter got us on the cabin driveway requiring us to go into winter action mode. Came to find snow. Loved it. Fireplace, wine and good food. Saw gaggle of Turkeys and deer out kitchen window. Could not ask for better adventure.”

“The views, the cabin, the location - all spectacular. Don't be put off by the driveway or stairs. Both were perfectly manageable if you either grew up in a more rural area or just went into it with a can-do attitude. It's all worth it for the views and seclusion. ”

“We came up to serve the families of WNC who were affected by the storm. This property was great in location to access centrally from Asheville to Spruce Pine. It’s a gorgeous place inside and out. We were very surprised by the spacious rooms and porch areas. We had children from 3 to 16 and they enjoyed the bunk beds, backyard area and “secret” loft. We will definitely plan another trip to this home soon! I can only imagine how amazing it will be covered in snow. Only last minute surprise was……
