“The Farmhouse on the River was one of the best rental properties we've stayed at. Private. Comfortable. Excellent communication. Peaceful. Relaxing. The river is beautiful. The yard is expansive and a great place for playing with our dog. The house is clean and welcoming. The location cannot be beat! It is quiet and private, yet stores, restaurants, hiking, fishing, and more are so close. We will absolutely return! ”

“This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. The house has everything you need and was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about this property and we can't wait to come back!!”

“Our daughter was getting married at a vineyard nearby. The location of our rental was only 3 mi away. The whole house was spotless and comfortable! Our oldest children came from all over the country and it made the occasion doubly special to be able to stay together. The kitchen is well equipped for us to make a huge meal. The master suite is incredible! The road was difficult to see in January, as it appears to be a driveway in the snow rather than a street but once located it was easy to……

“House is large and comfortable with a beautiful location and view. Very close to Skyland Drive. Kid friendly with crib and high chair. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend and come again. ”

“This is the best place for everyone. We had 6 adults, and 6 kids(1317). Mary was very kind assisting us from checking in to out. The pool was perfect for kids and adults. Also, the hot tub and outside fire pit were perfect. Even before we checked out, we're talking about coming back. I strongly recommend this cozy place to everyone who's looking for the vacation house around this area.”

The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was huge and well equipped. Farmer Tony and farmer Michelle were the best. We have booked for a second visit!”

It was perfect to gather around the table and enjoy a home cooked meal we had prepared together and then go outside and hang around the fire pit knowing we wouldn’t be disturbing anyone out in the country. “This was such a relaxing property and very easy communication with the hosts. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pup to run around. The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious with a very comfortable dining room table to enjoy meals. The location was very convenient for short drives to parks and hikes. The house is nicely furnished, comfortable and has beautiful backdrop of the mountains. This was such an awesome location to get away and relax. We would definitely recommend this property.”
