“The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. “Tucked away from the highway and along a beautiful river, this was a perfect place to getaway from it all and enjoy a beautiful night sky. “My boyfriend and I stayed in cabin “Thora.” Last time I came here was two years ago and I stayed in a Safari tent. This was my second time coming here and the experience was just as good. Response to messages was prompt, directions were easy, 10 minutes away from Lincoln, beautiful views right on the Brook. This place never disappoints. Excellent service and experience.”

“The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Even though I think all spots were booked during my day but it didn’t feel crowded at all. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Lots of free amenities and clear instructions on how to book them. Was also very clean. We will come back.”
