“This house had all the space and things we needed and was close to all the activities we had going on! Beds were comfortable, house was very clean and being able to use the garage was a plus! We will likely stay here again! ”

“This place was so great! My whole SD family came for Thanksgiving dinner. There were enough places for everyone to eat. There was plenty of beds for those that stayed, and the bedding/pillows were great! The hot tub with the view was amazing. The outside and inside pictures do not do this lovely cabin justice. Perfect place! Warm and cozy. LOTS of bald eagles! Would love to come in Spring time to canoe/kayak the river. I’m from the area but needed a place for my family and I to set up base.……

Emily's communication with us was excellent, and everything in the booking information was up to date and accurate. The home was clean and inviting, the beds were both comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped well enough to prepare simple meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Happy Place, and think you will, too!”

“This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and updated. The host was very quick to reply when I had a question. There is a coffee pot and a keurig, there was coffee but no keurig cups. I feel if there is a keurig there should be the cups to put in it or a mention to bring some. ”

“The Okoboji Lakefront home was perfect for our needs when we travelled to the area for a wedding. The three bedrooms, plus three extra beds in the basement, and two bathroom setup worked well for the seven of us. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed; we also found the washer/dryer useful. When outside, we really enjoyed the large deck to fully take in the atmosphere of the lake. The location of the house made traveling to and from where we needed to go very convenient.We were……
