“This is the perfect place to stay if you're towing boats into the Okoboji area and planning to fish all day and just need a place to cook and crash at night. We towed three boats down, and the parking area was large enough to fit all our trucks and trailers—possibly even more. The bunk room had more than enough beds for the three of us. The host, Brian, was very kind and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall, our stay was good. As noted in the Guidebook, we had requested an early check-in, but there was a lack of communication on this. I had to call VRBO to get an update. Upon arrival, we noticed several maintenance issues that needed documentation (e.g., the game room basketball hoop was barely hanging on, there were holes behind doors, etc.), which we promptly documented and sent via email. The cleanliness of the house was generally good. However, the hot tub wasn’t clean from the start—it……

“This property was perfect for our stay! We loved coming back from a busy fun day in town and staying in Ross and Karen's Beds and Sheds property! Don't let the name fool you!! Definitely not a shed and so much more then a bed !!! I would say more like a beautifully designed studio apartment with all the comforts of home provided.Even the bedding was soft and cozy! The owners were wonderful. They responded quickly if you needed anything! The location was serene and beautiful!”

“Very clean. Perfect location with short drive to everything. We really loved the large garage for prepping our gear and parking inside during the sub zero temps. Only complaint was the head of the bed was against the window which was cold. Otherwise. Very comfortable. One suggestion, have a little creamer and sugar for coffee. ”
