“Our hostess, Sophie has been excellent with local places of interest including some local restaurants. Our “villa” was very comfortable and fresh with a queen sized bed. “A brilliant stay with Hotel Ambrosia. I booked at short notice but nothing was too much for them. Very close to the Ypres main square. Free parking is only an 8-10 minutes walk away. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit. ”

“Extremely warm welcome from Benoit to this spacious and comfortable house right opposite the Menin Gate in the centre of the town. The house is filled with memorabilia from the First World War. We were very pleased to join Benoit for the moving last post ceremony at the gate.”

“If this hotel could be moved closer to the town centre then it would be 5 star. Unfortunately the road into town, which cuts through an industrial area, does not have a footpath and you have to walk in the road, ok in daylight but very unsafe at night. That is the only fault we found with this hotel, yes, we understand it’s not there fault but?????”
