“My favorite place to stay when in Winston-Salem! Great location, beautiful, clean and well equipped 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the edge of Old Salem. Second bathroom is just outside the 2nd bedroom. Walking distance to 4th Street/downtown and Old Salem area. The only minor downside is the entrance to another property adjoin the main bedroom and it can occasionally sound like they are in the bedroom with you when on the stairs. ”

“The place was great. So nice and clean. Had mostly everything you’d need. We had an issue with the ac but the host was responsive and willing to help. They also followed up. But I do advise you to label the switch that’s connected to the ac unit. Neighborhood was quiet and well kept. Only notes are the beds are rocks, maybe add a foam topper. And there’s no way to heat up food fast, perhaps an air fryer or microwave would be a good addition. ”

“I never give bad reviews & this was my first bad experience with a VRBO. We were visiting for Wake Forest parents weekend, drove through the hurricane, arrived at dinner, & I messaged the host because we hadn’t received our code. He replied immediately (only positive) that he was sorry & had to cancel our reservation. It was 6pm. The condo was overbooked on another platform & someone had already checked in. I don’t understand how this happens because we received VRBO emails reminding us……
