“House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. “The apartment is functional, great shower, clean (other than cobwebs on the windows), fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. However, it was incredibly hot and the windows are wired so that they can only open about 4 cm. There was a fan in the bedroom but it was extremely noisy. I am guessing they’ve had trouble with people leaving the windows open in the past and so have secured them in this way, but then they need to get AC as this was extremely uncomfortable. “I've been in the road for 30 years since coming out of the forces. I can honestly say I've spent time in cleaner and more comfortable fox holes. Access from 2, arrived at three to be left waiting until 5 before being given the door codes. Floor, worktops and all touchpoints sticky. Absolutely Horrid. Emails, voicemails and phones calls completely ignored. Do not confuse MK Short Say with Short Stay MK as i did. You will regret it!”
