“Very clean! Summer time would be better so we could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the river that's right outside the back door. There was some garbage behind the shed that didn't look good but with the weather being cold we didn't spend time outside except to walk and let our dog go potty. Other than that, it was cozy and a nice stay!”

“Everything was provided in the property, even all the kitchen utensils and coffee. Not just a single use coffee packet, but a full can along with a 12 cup coffee pot, just like at home. Roomy and quiet. We'll stay here again when we can. ”

“Everything was perfect. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. All the amenities were great. We had a five year old little girl and the park across from the home was a game changer. Fully stocked kitchen. ”

“The house was clean and well stocked, but Very musty however. Had to sign your life away on a lengthy rental agreement and the host wanted to know exactly when you were coming and leaving which was annoying. It was roomy and worked well for our family.”

“Everything was as promised and matched the photos on line. It was clean, clean, clean. Not a cobweb was noticed nor crumb or dust bunny. The town was a cute as can be. Listening to the Umpqua river from the deck was amazing. We are already planning when we want to return. ”

“We fit a lot in during our 4 day stay! A trip to Bandon to enjoy the ocean, wine tasting at Cooper Ridge and Knostman Family Winery, and waterfalls. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each night. The house was nicely decorated and met all of our needs! We walked the neighborhood and spent time at the river. Abby was spot on with her communication. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Monroe River House!”

“Pretty bummed that we did not get any response from the host when requesting the access to the place on the day of check in. They eventually responded after multiple emails on day 2. We had to find accommodations to cover the first night and there was no offer for compensation. The internet wasn't working and the water was shut off on the 3rd day. My employees live out of their suitcases and count on lodging to be a seamless process. This was not that. Would not recommend for these reasons.”

“Funky and very rural setting outside of your typical redneck / hippie Oregon town. Lots of big trucks & trailers — and three bookstores and several good restaurants in the cute historic downtown of Cottage Grove. The yurt was very comfortable, just keep in mind you are in a farm. ”
