“Steven and Beth were amazing hosts and very helpful with local information! Their cottage was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated, serenely quiet, and very comfortable. It was stormy during our stay, so the view wasn't perfect. But sitting on the porch, deeply inhaling the forest scent while having coffee, was the most relaxing experience one could ask for! We wished we could have stayed longer! If you're looking to relax and let the stress go, this is the perfect place to stay! A big thank……

“We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. It was within walking distance of the beach and our friends rental on Pebble Beach Lane. My only recommendation would be that the owner get screens for the front windows and bedroom window. Otherwise very happy with our stay. Owner was very responsive to my emails about the internet and TV. ”

“Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,……

“We loved the layout of the house with the master suite at one end, the bunkbed room right off the kitchen and then the other two bedrooms at the other end of house; sharing a bath – esp. the two sinks.The swing set and fire pit were marvelous….we spent our evenings outsideThere was enough sitting for everyone at dinner time and then to watch for the Oregon football game.It was excellent.”

“Cute little apartment, in a safe lovely neighborhood. I stay in Crescent City regularly for business and family trips, but this was a solo trip without my kids. I dislike the hotels in town so checked out this place. It was indeed a little Hideout. Cute cabin decor, kitchenette, living room where I could have a glass of wine with my family in town. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were wonderfully country with the requisite chickens, ducks and cat.……
