“We stayed in mid-October for a wedding. Front porch has amazing sunrises and retains heat during the day in the off-season. Close to lots of amazing things including the beach (front yard). “Nicole is a super host (pun intended). We didn’t meet in person, but she was welcoming, attentive, and kind. The cottage was clean, quiet, and well-apportioned. Extras were provided and were much appreciated. Hot water and a working furnace were so appreciated. The cottage is close to everything and truly steps away from Long Sands Beach. I recommend this cottage and staying in October. Very cozy. ”

“We enjoyed the space and bright sunny rooms of this property. The kitchen is very well supplied, and was used often throughout our week-long stay. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The bathroom is a fair size for 2 people to share, and it provides plenty of towels and quite a bit of storage. “A nice, well-equipped cottage. It is small, but the owner has made the most of the space. For example, no bathtub, but a great shower in the bathroom. An easy walk to Long Sands Beach, and good access to restaurants and shops. Very nice yard, with plenty of seating, a fire pit, and barbecue grill. We enjoyed our visit and hope to come back.”

“We were not happy with the property, pictures made it seem bigger than what it was. Very old inside, shower leaked in the main house, a chair broke with someone sitting in it, hurt her back. Very musty smelling, furniture old. We did not like that the owner lived right on the property, felt liked we we’re always being watched coming & going. Old plastic roped tablecloth on the table, not cleaned very well, pails in bedroom still had garbage in them. Would not recommend 😔”

“We had a great stay at this home in York. It is well appointed for a beach house, it was clearly professionally cleaned, and it has a cool old charm to it. Perfect location right on the beach. Just be aware that the basement is occupied by a relative of the owner and their dog. We didn’t have a problem during our stay but did have to share parking and be mindful of the other person on the property.”

“Before we stayed we asked a few questions about the property and learned that the listing is quite inaccurate and the company that manages it has absolutely no idea what is in the house. When we got there and had multiple problems (no hot water, the house had an intense kitty litter smell, the air conditioning barely worked and ALL the fans in the house were broken, the outdoor shower didn’t work, there was no hose to rinse any of our beach things off so sand got everywhere, even if there was a……
