“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

Relaxation and peace all rolled up into one. Also, you can't beat that you feel so secluded and away from the world, yet you are close to everything you need and the main attractions. “We had the perfect stay - the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The fireplace, paired with the view of the creek (sorta river) was amazing. Host was amazing and we even got to take the row boat out. Location of the cottage is perfect. It was 3 minutes to Dutch wonderland, and 4 to American Movie Theatre. Loved it so much the wife and kids wanted to move in. Book the stay - you won’t regret it!”

“Rental was extremely clean & well furnished. Wonderful view. Thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, freshly baked blueberry scones, fresh flowers, candy & even dog treats. The fenced in yard for our dog was greatly appreciated. Our dog found the chickens, rosters, emus & burros very interesting. The property is very well maintained & the owners are close by but give you privacy. Highly recommend.”

“House was adorable. Hot tub was not as clean as I expected. Also, there were alot of flies. I believe that is related to proximity to farms. So just a heads up. No screens on windows or doors so they get into the house. The park was perfect for all of our family to enjoy. ”

“It was great other than the radiators. The home only has 2 tvs which would be ok if the radiators weren’t so loud. The bangs woke us up all night. We were there for business and it was very nice. I just recommend they put noise machines or tvs in the rooms.”
