“The house was located in a beautiful community only a 30-45 minute drive from all Yosemite Valley destinations we wanted to see plus Wawona and Mariposa! Comfortable place to eat, sleep, and recharge while enjoying the wonders of Yosemite! ”

“Upon arrival key pad was not inputted with my phone number code so needed to contact property manager. It was 9pm & no cell service so it was difficult & frustrating. After getting cell reception down the street the Property manager did show up quickly to let us in.”

“This Rustic Retreat was located in a spot between everything we wanted to do. 30min from Yosemite Valley or Mariposa Grove. Seven miles from tunnel view. Price, location and amenities were ideal making it a perfect base camp for rest, meals, and family time.”

“I was happy with our stay and the location of the home. I was lucky I planned for no internet and got paper maps of the area as no internet or wifi. I was the most disappointed with the master bedroom on the main floor as the side of the bed that is closest to the bathroom is worn out. I did not get a good night sleep due to sinking into the hole on that side. I have seen other reviews of other people that have stayed here and they have also made the same review but the owner has not done……

“Met all of our needs. Bathrooms are a little dated, unable to enjoy the cool mountain air as all the bedroom window screens had holes in them. Beds were comfy and kitchen had most of the essentials for cooking dinner. Hot tub was especially nice after long hikes.”

“We LOVED this cozy but spacious cabin inside the park in Wawona. It is the perfect combination of great amenities with a rustic mountain feel. The house has 5 bedrooms, PLENTY of space for our family of 5. The large open living area offered lots of cozy hang out space, and the ping pong table in the garage was a HUGE hit with our 3 kids - they spent every free moment out there. There is a large, fantastic deck. We visited early in the season (late April) so I don't know what it's like during……

“The house is clean, well equipped and has a nice deck with a grill, all as described. The Chateau East is part of a much larger house - Chateau West was also occupied. While the other guests could be heard sometimes, the 2 units are totally separate. I recommend this place for it's location within the Park, easy access to Glacier Point, the Valley and the Redwoods in Mariposa. Unfortunately, Glacier Point Road is closed until 2024. We are looking forward to return.”
