“Overall our stay was very enjoyable. We had a couple hiccups in the beginning. The A.C. unit wasnt working properly. The owner was fantastic and sent someone over immediately to take a look at it. There was also a yellow jackets nest at the front of the cabin. It sounds like this has been treated a few times but its not killing them off. This is just an FYI for anyone highly allergic to them. I think an exterminator may be needed. I do recommend if you are ise to a pillowtop mattress to……

It was fun to watch the evening swims from the nearby beaver dam, and listen to the daily arguments among the geese and cormorants. Off-site amenities were few during the off-season, which was not unexpected, but good to keep in mind when planning your visit.”

“We wish we booked an additional night! The house was very clean, the beds and couch were comfortable. We were able to walk into town for dinner. The National Comedy Museum was fantastic! We also enjoyed live music at Southern Tier Brewing Company. Our host was communicative and available, but not invasive or overbearing. We are looking forward to a return visit!”

“This large country home was perfect for our recent trip to NY/PA for my nephew’s wedding. Our party included my husband & I, our kids, their spouses & our two grandkids. This home is beautifully decorated and had everything we could’ve needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The host very kindly left us some apples, cheese & crackers too! It is conveniently located to several major roadways and stores. There was some road noise, but it wasn’t too bad. David, the host, was very responsive……
