“We really enjoyed the historic aspect of the hotel and the way it has been modernized for comfort, while preserving the historic building. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant and both meals were wonderful. We particularly appreciated the excellent customer service by Rocio in the bar/restaurant and Guadeloupe at the front desk. They both were very friendly and helpful. ”

“Paula etait réellement très attentionnée et sympathique. Elle nous a changé de chambre pour etre mieux installé quand elle a remarqué que nous voyagions avec 2 adolescentes. Le site rural était parfait pour la détente et la relaxation tout en étant enchanteur. La chambre était propre et les lits très confortables.”

“It was very confusing to find this gem as google maps led us astray a couple of times. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful caretakers who were so kind and friendly that all the jet lag melted away. Not only is this accommodation amazing and very cool but Ingrid and her husband are brilliant. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. ”

“Estuvimos muy agusto, el sitio es precioso y el personal muy atento, nos trataron fenomenal, pendientes en todo momento de las necesidades de los clientes. La comida excelente, todo un acierto cenar allí. El único pero que puedo poner es la luz de emergencia de la habitación que ilumina mucho y tuve que tapar y el colchón, excesivamente duro. “An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. The fireplace, the sauna, extra cozy cabin / bed, incredible breakfast with lots of homemade goodies, wine / beer to purchase, etc. all made the stay unique. This seemingly……
