“An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. “Non responsible hotel, contact number is not working. No one was presence when I was arrived. Kept bullying on tourist. Shame of Portugal. I had to book another hotel to survive at that night.”

“Superbe endroit! Vue à couper le souffle dans une belle grande maison d’un décor tiré du passé. Le coucher du soleil sur notre terrasse de la cabine 6 était splendide. Bon déjeuner fourni directement à la cabine. Cuisine complète et salle de bain correcte. Il faut marcher en pente pour s’y rendre avec les bagages, la communication a été plus difficile car je ne parle pas portugais, il n’y a pas de réception, il y a peu de restaurants aux alentours. Un petit lézard est venu nous visiter dans……

“Estuvimos muy agusto, el sitio es precioso y el personal muy atento, nos trataron fenomenal, pendientes en todo momento de las necesidades de los clientes. La comida excelente, todo un acierto cenar allí. El único pero que puedo poner es la luz de emergencia de la habitación que ilumina mucho y tuve que tapar y el colchón, excesivamente duro. Gracias por una estancia maravillosa.”

“This is a fabulous little hotel. It has obviously been recently refurbished and modernised. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. Continental breakfast was great value for only €5 and there is a handy cafe/bar right next door.”
