“My wife has been dying to sleep in the shoe for 30 years. She nearly died when she discovered her birthday surprise of a weekend in the shoe house. We had so much fun doing shoe themed activities and eating foot/shoe themed things. I think it's so much fun to be able to say we slept in a shoe. We had an absolute blast!”

“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

“We were delighted by the newness of the house. It is compact but plenty of room for 5 adults. Beds are amazing. We have a Temperpedic so we were so happy when we found mattresses were similar. Very comfortable. All appliances were newer and worked great. The backyard was so cute. Loved our stay. Would stay again for sure! ”

“My visit to the cottage in Wrightsville was absolutely perfect! I couldn’t have asked for better views. The house was clean and updated. The beds including pillows were very comfortable! There is a lots to do around including one of the best dog parks I’ve ever been to- Canine Meadows. I came home feeling so relaxed. I would definitely stay again. ”

“Pete and Carol were excellent hosts that provided everything we could need. The home was beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and waking up to cute farm animals in the morning. We hope to travel again to this area just to stay again. Being welcomed with warm scones and fresh eggs foreshadowed a perfect stay. ”

“Nice stay but could of had more amenities like hand soap and more bath towels ”

“It was great other than the radiators. The home only has 2 tvs which would be ok if the radiators weren’t so loud. The bangs woke us up all night. We were there for business and it was very nice. I just recommend they put noise machines or tvs in the rooms.”
