“The Stone Cottage is absolutely charming. My son and daughter in law both had to work one day, so the basement worked out beautifully. The loft and rooms were all cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped abundantly. The location next to Beacon Cafe was amazing, food was so good. Whitmers General Store with pizza and various entrees was a 3 minute walk down the quaint road. As a frequent visitor to Amish country I was looking for a new experience and Stone Cottage was a gem of a find. I……

“We had a short stay during my wife’s spring break (she’s an art teacher). We both fell in love with the cottage and the surrounding pond. Everything was glorious and the breakfast is spectacular. “This is a wonderful property and we really enjoyed our time away. The peace and quiet was heavenly, and the cottage is just delightful. You can spend a few hours just taking in all the decorations! John is a great host, was available to answer all our questions and provided a ton of information that made our stay easy and just what a tired city couple needed. Next time we'll stay longer!”

“We had a travel JO volleyball tournament in Sherrodsville this property was 10 min away. Super convenient to go to Eastern Ohio Sports Complex! We stayed in early April and they did not have the golf cart out of winter storage yet. But lots of pillows in the upstairs room at the top of the steps.Lots of towels and blankets stored upstairs also! Bring K-cups they had a keurig but they also provided coffee and creamer! Very accommodating. It was not right on the lake but you could see the lake……

“This property was absolutely beautiful! From the beautiful scenery to the beautiful little cottage! The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way! So cozy and comfortable! Sitting outside on the back deck was absolutely breathtaking and relaxing!! The owners did a fabulous job making it a perfect place for a couples getaway! The owners were friendly and very helpful! “Beautiful home. Confortable beds. Property was very well mantained and clean! We had an amazing time. Would definitely come back! ”

“The neighborhood is quiet. The views of the lake are relaxing. The accommodations were spa like in color and farmhouse/cottage in style and charm. The property is also centrally located between Massillon and Canton which was very convenient. It is also just a few minutes from shopping and highway access. I would absolutely book this location in the future.”

“We came out for the eclipse and it was a nice quiet accommodation for us and our friends. The kids really enjoyed all the animals and sitting on the back porch. Lots of space. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.”

“Great cabin and enjoyed our stay only disappointment was the grill was gone and so was the firewood, both which we were reading would be available. We work on the road and was looking forward to grilling up a hot meal, we did use the kitchen instead so no big deal. We hope to use this cabin again in the future! ”
