"Staff were great and very friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent also with a large buffet selection. Small negatives were the shower leaked at base of door and main ceiling was in poor condition. Neither had any effect on our stay at all ..."

"Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was ..."
