“We just returned yesterday from a perfect 5 day stay. We were continuously greeted by wonderful front desk staff who always made us feel welcome, and feel at home. From morning one, we started to meet other guests, some who come back every year, and it immediately starts to feel like a little community. “We loved staying at Fred. Took us a while to understand the slow paced culture of St Croix … a nice change from the fast paced craziness of our home in Washington DC. While there were a few hiccups during our stay - such as no towels; being ignored by staff at bar; etc - the Fred after we complained made things right. Thanks, Fred, for an incredible stay on St Croix. We will stay there again.”

“We were so happy to return to the Grapetree! The staff is so friendly and supportive to your needs. Everyone greets you with a smile. The rooms have a wonderful view of the bay with the sounds of waves calming you through the day. The rooms are airy and bright and very clean. “Clean, quiet, relaxing but not luxury. Housekeeping only upon request. No restaurant as the website states, no breakfast, no coffee at the bar. Food truck only on site. Good bar, nice music. Beautiful beach. A nice place to go, but manage your expectations. ”

“The resort sort of feels like a step back in time. That classic small beach resort feel. Although the property itself could use a facelift the staff is warm and welcoming and always make sure to accommodate you the best they can. Sometimes even going above and beyond in ways you don’t get out of a large resort. The views from every balcony are absolutely gorgeous. ”

“This is ideally a quiet location, you will need a vehicle, and the host is very responsive. The bathroom was small, but there were over 20 other condos, so I can only mention where I stayed.”
