“The property is lovely with a beautiful view, and excellent staff. The only downside is that it is not located in Monemvasia castle nor is it in the city of Monemvasia but right beyond the city borders so the nearest dining option is 10 minutes away by car. Otherwise the stay was great. ”

“Location, Location, Location! It is a step backwards in time, but with current day amenities. Breakfast was great, Staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. Views were incredible. Exploring the lower town maze was fun! Restaurants were plentiful. Biggest regret, we did mot plan enough time to explore the upper level of town. One of the highlights of our trip! ”

“Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing. ”

“Un excellent séjour dans cet établissement, où le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse et bienveillance ! Ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous (jusqu'à nous porter les valises !). “Service from Katerina at the buffet breakfast restaurant was exceptional. She brought us tea in a tea cup each morning. She was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good. The only thing I would suggest is having a pot of coffee in the lobby for early risers.”

“Een leuk hotel vlak bij de verbinding maar de oude stad. Prima kamer met zee zicht. Zo te zien gerenoveerd. Heel vriendelijke staf. Omtbijt buffet was uitgebreid met veel natuur producten. “5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options.……
