“Fabulous hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the bar on a busy Sunday lunchtime! The landlord let us check in early the room overlooked the bar garden and nice rural views! Lovely really pub with a selection of real ales! Will be return in the near future! Ingelton is a pretty place. The breakfast is delicious good quality ingredients. Ideal for families. ”

“Easy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here again”

“I was left on my own, worked out great, planned all my excursions to the lake district, ate when i wanted, slept in the day, if needed. Bike was safe in car park. En suite room. No complaints 5* cleaner was friendly, too!”

“So upon arrival the hotel had no record of our booking through Hotels.com. Luckily they had a room available and gave it us for the rate id booked a year ago. The room was large, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding delicious. The staff were lovely. We had two issues. The toilet wasn't clean, had poo stains from previous guests. And there was no hot water from the shower. Luckily the bath was ok. ”

“After spending 7.5 hours walking up Mount Whernside, I was looking forward to a hot meal and a comfortable bed; and that's just what I got! Cotton sheets and soft white fluffy towels were appreciated.Pamela was very welcoming and friendly. Only 2* accommodation but that was all that was required, therefore can't fault it; achieving my Mountain walk was my main aim! 💪excellent coffee in the morning! ☕😁 xx”

“Booked to stay as we were attending the wedding of our nephew. Early wedding so had to leave our bags in the car until after 2pm check-in. Not really a problem but would have been nice to hang my extra clothes earlier. Staff polite and helpful. Room OK but no aircon so quite warm. There was a desk fan in the room so that helped. Breakfast was good with a variety of continental and cooked breakfast. Refreshed regularly”
