“Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). ”

“Golden Pearl er et flott hotell til en fornuftig pris. Flott uteområde rett på stranden med mange solsenger. Betjeningen er imøtekommende, men det oppsto her som mange andre steder i Sri Lanka en del kommunikasjonsproblemer grunnet dårlig engelsk forståelse. Fantastisk meny på kjøkkenet, men vi visste knapt at de hadde en før avreise, så informasjonen til gjestene burde vært bedre.”

“The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency.”
